Air-chilled, pastured, free-range chickens from FitzMitt Farm in Kuna, Idaho or Raw Life Farms in Melba, Idaho. These chickens are never given antibiotics, hormones or steroids. They are raised free-range on chemical-free and pesticide-free pastures.
ABOUT THE CHICKEN ADD-ON
Depending on availability, your chicken will come from Raw Life Farms, FitzMitt Farm, or both.
The cuts of chicken included in your add-on will vary depending on size, value and availability. You may receive whole chicken, breasts, drumsticks, thighs, or a combination of these. Each of these have a different value that's not based solely on weight but also on processing costs.
If you prefer a specific cut of chicken, please specify in the Farm Box Preferences form and we will accommodate whenever possible.

ABOUT THE CHICKEN ADD-ON

Low-Range Add-On
- 1 medium-sized package of chicken breasts
- OR 1 whole chicken ~2.5-3lbs
- 1 whole chicken ~3lbs
- OR 1 package of chicken thighs
- 1 whole chicken ~3.5-4lbs
- OR 1 large package of chicken breasts
- 2 small packages of breasts
- OR 2 packages of drumsticks, 4ea
- OR 1 extra-large package of chicken breasts
- OR 1 whole chicken ~4-4.5lbs
ABOUT FITZMITT FARM
- Never given antibiotics, hormones or steroids
- Raised on chemical free and pesticide free pastures
- Supplemented with locally produced NON gmo feed.
- Humanely raised and processed by USDA butcher
- Given lots of room to roam and be protected from the elements in chicken tractors. These are happy birds doing what chickens should do- enjoying sunshine, eating bugs and pasture.
- Moved daily and used in rotational grazing methods to help put nutrients back into the soil
FitzMittFarm is a local family farm. We use regenerative farming methods including rotational grazing, no till, and humane treatment of our animals to provide you sustainable clean quality products raised on a farm that uses chemical free and pesticide free practices.

Raw Life Farms was started by Seth and Andi Hansen in 2018 in Melba, Idaho with just a couple of dairy cows. Seth grew up on a farm in Monteview, Idaho, and Andi is a 4th generation farmer from the Treasure Valley.
